After Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, Argentine star footballer Lionel Messi will now be seen playing for the Inter Miami club. Messi has officially signed with Inter Miami. Messi also released a video of himself wearing Miami’s number 10 jersey. Now December, Messi will play from Inter Miami club for the next two years till December 2025.
“I look forward to starting the next step in my career with Inter Miami and in the United States,” Messi said after the deal. This is a wonderful opportunity and together we will make it even better. I am looking forward to playing with my new team here.
Messi will make his Inter Miami debut on July 21 in a League Cup match against Cruz Azul of Mexico. Messi announced in June that he was leaving PSG to join the Florida outfit, which is partly owned by former England captain David Beckham. The forward has since stated that he is looking forward to enjoying the final phase of his career.

Midfielder Mason will stay at Manchester United
Manchester United club for the English Premier League (EPL) has completed a five-year deal with international midfielder Mason Mount. Midfielder Mount, 24, has played 279 club matches, scoring 58 goals and providing 53 assists. He was Champions League winner Chelsea’s Player of the Year for both the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. He has 36 caps for England and played a key role in his country’s run to the European Championship final in 2021.
“It’s never easy leaving the club where you grew up, but Manchester United will provide an exciting new challenge for the next phase of my career,” Mount said. Having competed against them, I know what a strong team this is I’m joining, and I can’t wait to be part of this group’s campaign to win major trophies. The club also confirmed that new signing Mount would wear the iconic shirt number 7 following his transfer from Chelsea.
